A brand new longship. A brand new French chief. A brand new amazing experience. I sailed on Viking years ago. the ship was nice the Rhine is always beautiful. This trip was completely different experience. The cabin was more than comfortable, with heated bathroom floors, Freya products, extra large towels, soft robes and slippers, down comforters, heavenly pillows and gentle sailing down the Seine. Pure heaven. The food was excellent in every aspect. The cabin veranda, perfect! The dinning room has floor to ceiling windows, as most areas on the long ship. Service was the best I have had on any of my previous forty six cruises. All shore excursion are included in the cost of the cruise, as are wine, beer and soft drinks with dinner and lunch. specialty coffee is always available and always free.. Embarkation and disembarkation are effortless. A fresh bottle of water is place in your stateroom each day. All movies are free of charge and a joy to watch on a forty inch flat screen. We have booked another River cruise as well as a Ocean voyage.
