We chose this cruise because of the unique itinerary, stopping at Block Island, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, etc. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly.
We are very experienced cruisers. That being said, In a nutshell, for a cost of about $8000-$12,000 per couple, for seven days, we expected the best of everything. This cruise line simply did not deliver, Way overpriced for what you get!
The young men and women who served our meals, the same ones who cleaned our rooms were, overall, friendly, delightful,l and did their best. However, I was told that they were not allowed to work for more than 16 weeks and then, they would be terminated.(This may have something to do with Obamacare). As a result, the quality of their work never reached its potential. One server told me they received only their paychecks, and did not share in passenger gratuities.
Cabins are good size, especially the bathrooms. Balconies are mini, only about two and one half feet wide. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. On the downside, dresser drawers continually slid open, day and night, as the ship rolled. There are no individual cabin attendants and clean-up service is cheerful but below par. Our bathroom floor was continually sticky. One day, I spilled coffee on the bedsheets. Despite the staining, they were never replaced. TV coverage was good. There is no keyless entry. Continually locking and unlocking our cabin door with the key, was a pain.
