Our first river cruise with Viking...we were met at CDG airport upon arrival by the Viking staff, whisked to the motor coach for transfer to the Viking Rinda docked in Le Pecq, outside of Paris. Lovely location for walking on your own. A wonderful lunch was served and then our cabin was ready. Our cabin had a French Balcony on the second floor which I highly recommend. It is easy to make new friends because at all your meals it is open seating. At breakfast we met folks from Maine, Colorado, Canada etc. The staff is another reason the trip was so wonderful. Always a smile, there to help with any requests and Peter Jr. the bartender was fantastic and makes a mean Mojito. Some of the friends we made decided to sit together each evening when possible and Martina our wait staff was delightful, funny, and a real professional. A special thank you to all the Viking staff. Now a word about the Program Director, Ken, every evening before dinner we met in the Lounge for a briefing about the upcoming day tours etc. always a joke, always entertaining, always on top of everything while on board, on tours and he had a lot on his plate with 180+ guests to take care of. I hope Viking is aware of what a gem they have in having him on board and all the staff that we met while on this cruise from Paris to Normandy. Magnifique! Je vous remercie! a la prochaine!

Pillows need to be replaced with firmer ones. Bathroom is part of the cabin and would suggest a room spray since there is not fan.
