Cruise 2016 19th August. We got the transfer with Celebrity from the airport in Rome to the ship, perfect, maybe we had to hang around the airport for 45-60 minutes for other flights to arrive buy we were very happy with the service, when we arrived at the ship straight on, no waiting nothing we were on board about 11.15/30.

We had a bite to eat at the Ocean café and a look around the ship, we also had a cold beer! Yes it is true that there was pressure to upgrade the drinks package, as it happens I did, I thought it was worth it but I only did it for me not my wife, overall I think it was the right choice mainly because of the red wine but of course everyone to his/her own. Do I think there was too much pressure on people to upgrade? Maybe but all you had to do was say no and it was only really on the first day but there were people unhappy about it.

Our cabin was 7267, we were happy with the cabin, just the same as out last cruise on Celebrity. Read more
