After reading some negative reviews I thought I would share my experience of this ship. We have previously been on independence of the seas and on this occasion we still found the food the same quality as previous. We were allocated King Lear as our main dining room and the waiters were excellent and the choice and quality of food was excellent too. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and if you didn't like anything they would accommodate this by swopping your choice but we never had to swop anything. The bands on this sailing were not as good as previously experienced but I think we had been spoiled by having rock the boat before. We did have one negative gripe which is now they charge an 18% service charge on all drinks and also an extra 10% when sailing in Spanish waters which made drinks prices extortionate unless you were on a drinks package. We found the bingo to be a rip off aswell for the amount of players and high prices for tickets compared to what was payed out . In general we enjoyed our holiday from start to finish and I wouldn't hesitate on going back on this ship again.
We went to the camp nou in a taxi which was around 30 euros going and around 25 euros back ,we did the tour of the museum which was 23 euros each ,we then went into the stands then down to pitch level then into visitors changing rooms and were the players do tv interviews ,then into the shop. You can have several photo opportunities one is with the Champions league cup .I found the tour really good but Barcelona are a business and everything comes at a cost once you have paid to get in.
We took the shuttle bus and we found it was well worth it as the journey was around 25 mins each way ,we found Valencia had some lovely places but also had its run down areas with graffiti
We walked into Cadiz were we walked to the centre and also went to the cathedral which was nice then strolled back ,we couldn't do to much as it was a short stay .
