This is our third time on the celebrity summit. There was a big difference in the quality from last year to this year. The quality of the food has gone down dramatically, as well as the entertainment. Although both were good, it's not nearly as good as they used to be. The ship shows signs of wear however, all the surfaces were clean. The rooms are in desperate need of a redo. The shower door design dumps water on the floor and you step out into a big puddle. There is not much one can do to minimize this. We traveled in aqua class and was very disappointed with Blu, in terms of quality. I had two steaks and both tasted like cardboard. My wife did have a steak and was happy with it. There were also people with allergies in our party, and the waiter was very good about letting us pre-order tomorrow's dinner in advance, so the chief could prepare as indicated. The canapés they sent to the room were embarrassing. One was a few potato chips, 6 peanuts and two pieces of bagel strips, with a hint of a dip. There was no real headline entertainment. The digital magician did the same poor show as last year. The bars were not 5 deep as last year and was easy to get a drink. We did notice that many events on the daily activities list were an up charge. I do understand that they try and keep prices down so they make it up any way they can. All in all we had a great time and a good value for our $$. We appreciate the good judgment of Captain Alex for leaving Bermuda early and out running the hurricane. He keep us safe and minimized our exposure to rough seas.
