Dining room staff were particularly helpful and accommodating; with many children our seating arrangements and food needs fluctuated often. Dining room food was OK, but not what I had expected. Perhaps previous sailings on HAL have spoiled us.
Windjammer food was well below expectations and *extremely* overcrowded (even at off-peak times). The Windjammer alone gave our group pause in considering another Royal Caribbean journey.
Up-selling was too pervasive. The alternate dining options are fine and, anymore, ubiquitous; however, I do not wish their offerings to be peddled during a meal. Similarly, the corridor to the Windjammer or events (ice rink, for instance) don't need spa-sales tables or drink-of-the-day displays. Leave that for the promenade, which is more appropriate given the "mall" feel to the area.
Quarters were tight for four people, but that was to be expected. The cabin was well apportioned, but appeared worn (e.g. chipping paint). The two wall outlets proved to be a challenge for charging devices, but we managed well enough. The bathroom had a slight, but pervasive urine smell which was, obviously, disquieting.
Room steward was fantastic. The towel figures were a big hit with the kids, and we never ran out of clean towels.
Room was quiet and conveniently located.
