Wanted to go on the Breakaway, an epic ship. The special dinners looked inviting and the activities as well. This ship is quite big and inviting. I have been on others cruise lines as well as Norwegian before. I wanted to see if this cruise and ship met the expectations. I was immediately hit with the smallness of the cabin. We could not maneuver well and the space was limited. I had never had such a small cabin before and I always pick a balcony room. The balcony was also very disappointing. I could not believe how compact it was. We could not sit down and have breakfast very comfortably. Upon arrival at our room the steward introduced himself and offered his services. He was very friendly and seemed accommodating. I immediately requested some more hangars. He visited my cabin with more towels but forgot the hangars. The ship was beautiful. The outside pool was extremely small and often was too full with people for any one to enjoy themselves in a spacious manner. Every staff member and I do mean every, was extremely friendly and nice. Always someone there to meet your needs and keep you comfortable and content. I constantly lost my bearing even after seven days. (my fault I guess). The dining halls were beautiful with very pleasant surroundings. The service was good not great. The food on all levels was good and plentiful. The buffet on the 15th Floor (Garden) was very big and one could find difficulty in finding one's way around. The breakfast hot line (for special made eggs) was always long and made one impatient. However, the chef was always accommodating. Over all the cruise was a success as my company and the people on the cruise made it one big family with everyone out to enjoy themselves. One other big complaint was the shows every night were difficult to get in as the ship has too many people all wanting to go to the same place. As a result I did not see one show in the main entertainment hall. One could says this was my fault as I did not reserve(it was difficult to make reservations) but any of the other cruises I had been on I never missed a show.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

I do not have good things to say about the cabin as it was too small and not very easy to maneuver around. I also was disappointed in the size of the balcony.
