We cruised over a dozen times mostly on RCCL. This was our second cruise on the Grandeur of the Seas. Last time was one of the first cruises after the aft area fire. This ship is showing it's age. Some of the common area furniture was torn and worn. Fitness equipment not working. Yet the theater must have been recently upgraded. The show seating was great. The show were great too, especially the comics. Cruise Director Paul was good. Our suite had plenty of closet space, huge double sink bathroom and balcony had a table with two chairs AND two lounge chairs. Michael the Hotel Director was seen all over the ship. He was always observing his staff. Good management! Dining room staff was attentive. Good food but boring desserts. 5 Night Bermuda cruise is too short only 24ish hours in port. We spent our arrival afternoon in the Royal Dockyard shops. That evening we did the Gosling's Rum Evening Cruise. I highly recommend it. Next morning we took the minibus ($7 per person one way) to Horseshoe Bay beach. This is one of the great beaches. Two chairs and umbrella ($30) well worth it. Over heard problems in many of the JS category suites NO air conditioning for a number of days. Grandeur is scheduled for the dockyard in mid-April.. We're booked the early April cruise. We may reschedule.
