We went on this cruise to have a short cruise for our grand-daughters' first cruise. They had a great time....It took a long time once we entered the parking area to actually get parked. Don't know why we waited so long to get sorted into our "Priority" status parking area. We were then immediately picked up by a shuttle and dropped off at the entrance. There was "NO" clear marking for Priority here either so we waited in line. Our neighbors "in-Line" saw our priority boarding passes and instructed us where to go. Then, it went smoothly.
There were a "ton" of kids on-board which filled the pools and hottubs to overflowing and made swimming a challenge. We did spend a lot of time in the pool & Waterworks area, because our granddaughters love the water. Lots of kids around didn't spoil their fun...
Dining was nice although we have seen a better choice menu on some of our other cruises(7 days & longer). Lido deck for breakfast and lunch was fine. Omelet chefs need to have more practice. They were very slow and often did not have all 3 stations working. Dining room staff, Tina, Juan & I Nengah were very attentive and responsive to our needs. A couple ladies at our table were "what I would call" a real challenge, but they served with a smile and met everyone's requests. Nice Job.
Our cabin was small for all 4 of us but expected that. We spent very little time there except to change clothes, shower or sleep. Gusti did a great job keeping our messy place clean for us...
We got a group together before the cruise to gather, grab a taxi and go to the Grand Lucayan for a day of beach & pool. It was a beautiful day and fun was had in abundance.
Lots of ships & people. We did what we planned to do. Explore a little and shop.
My cousin showed us around the Beautiful City of Charleston, both before and after our cruise. If you have time, explore...
