Embarkation was exactly like always....a winding line of smiling (or complaining) travelers, all with happy anticipation. Not too long and you are on board heading for food in one direction or the other. Ship is beautiful and recently refurbished. We had a balcony cabin on deck 8 which was well appointed, always clean, great towel animals and taken great care of by Cermelo. Traveled with another couple. I have mobility problems so I don't "run" around too well, but had no problem moving around the ship (plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by).

Felt the food in the main dining room wasn't great. Poor in taste and only lukewarm at best; the deserts tried to make up for the rest, but fell short for us (our traveling companions thought everything was to their liking). We enjoyed the Windjammer food more, but really loved the Sabor meal best of all. My wife loved the spa and we put our drink package to a good test.

We only used the ship for one excursion in Costa Maya (Salsa and Salsa)....had a great time and some tasty Margaritas, followed by time on the beach if you like...we recommend this excursion for a day of fun. The bars were attentive and most of the entertainment was easy to listen to and relax. We enjoyed going to the Café for coffee in the AM and sitting to watch our fellow cruisers. Read more
