Excellent experience. We've been on 5 prior cruises that included Holland America, Cunard, and Royal Caribbean. Hands down, this was the best. We were in Aqua Class room #1104. We took four large suitcases plus carry-ons and were able to store everything. The main dining room had better options, but the service in Blu was much better. The food quality was the same in both. Loved the Persian Garden and enclosed therapy pool and hot tubs. Everyone (passengers and staff) was extremely nice. The ship was extremely clean. Drinks were strong! Due to weather, several excursions were canceled at the last minute, but we were able to replace them. Ketchikan was our favorite port. Embarkation and disembarkation could not have been any smoother. The only complaint I had was the ship's communication. An example - we were told an announcement would be made when we could access our room. We never heard an announcement, sat at the bar until 3:30, finally went to the room to find out that we could have gone at 1! We will absolutely will do it again.

Port Reviews

Juneau

Supposed to do the hovercraft but it was canceled due to weather. Settled for the Mendenhall Glacier tour which was amazing but crowded.

Skagway

Bus through town to Summit. Female bus driver was not good and it was very foggy. we were supposed to take helicopter to glacier then dogsled on glacier, but it was canceled due to weather...maybe next time!

Seward

Well worth the money...8.5 hour tour from ship to airport. Time was an incredible driver and guide. Good stops along the way with paid admission to all 3 included in price.
