Living in Miami, Florida, we choose this cruise for the value for a six days and five nights stay/cruise. Our embarkment and disembarkment went fairly smoothly with only minor wait time at US Customs during disembarkment in Miami, Florida. Our ship Empress-of-the-sea was smaller than our previous ships/cruises, but it was great service on board. Dining was great and entertainment/shows were outstanding.

Shore excursion in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the underground mayan river snorkel trip was excellent, our guide was excellent and he was very knowledgeable of the area and its history. My wife and I would most definitely travel again with Royal Caribbean International, Empress-of-the-sea, same ports of call.

Our dining experience in the Chop Grille was excellent and extra money was worth the experience. Our room was small, but that was our decision of choosing this room for the value and we were hardly ever in our room except to shower, change clothing or to sleep.

Cabin Review

Cabin Oceanview stateroom

Our cabin was small, but very nice, we hardly used it except for showering, getting dressed, and sleeping. So it met our needs very well, plus the value of the room was great
