While I continue to be disappointed that Celebrity does not offer the quality experience they used to....without paying thousands more, it is still an excellent cruise line and a wonderful experience.
Celebrity has big dollar signs in their eyes at every angle. If you want excellent food, pay for one of the 5 specialty restaurants. If you want dedicated good food, pay for Aqua class and dine at Blue or pay for a suite and dine at Lummae. If you want captain club status, stay in a suite for extra points....2 per day versus 15.
The entertainment staff had 5 people on small ships. Now they have 2 on large ships. Celebrity cuts quality at every corner....not the experience of 10 years ago.

We got a discounted "obscured view" balcony. Our obstruction was a life boat support that was below the balcony rail and about a square foot on the left....It did not bother us in the least and saved us hundreds.
