Oasis of the Seas!!! Since cruising on the Oasis of the Seas, for my God-brother's wife's 50th birthday celebration, I am anticipating my next cruise experience. From embarkation to disembarkation...first class. Was very surprised when I was in my cabin approximately 10 minutes after arriving at the port. No lines at all. The cabin was much bigger than I anticipated as I cruised about 20 years ago on Royal Caribbean and the cabin was much smaller. The dining was great in all the restaurants...the food was delicious. Windjammer and Wipeout Cafe...the view of lots of activities (zip lining, basketball, aerobics, golf, the pool...) and the ocean. So very lovely. All staff were sooo lovely...from beginning to end. They made sure sure we were well taken care of. The entertainment and activities were great. I tried to cover all of them. :-) The shows were excellent. The comedy shows and the game shows were hilarious. The aqua shows were excellent and the belly flop was funny as ever!! Surely lots of laughs on this cruise. I loved the entertainment on the promenade deck. The line dancing and the 70s party...a great time. I loved the Dazzle Club...the live band was great...especially the 70s after-party. :-) Of course, the itineraries were placed on my bed nightly, but I was very impressed with the up-to-date itineraries on the television. In addition to this, all of our reservations for shows and our updated bill was available to us on the television. Very impressed. The captain announced the ship had to turn around for a sick passenger...that warmed my heart. In addition to this, the ship had to re-route due to a few hurricanes that were in the Atlantic Ocean. I was very impressed again as safety is surely our first priority and our voyage was very smooth. Kudos to the captain and his crew. Bahamas...Hurry Murray was the best tour guide ever! We had a really good time...lots of laughs as we toured this beautiful place. Puerto Rico...a beautiful place, the tour was good and it was nice to get off the ship for a bit and do a little shopping. Haiti...been to Royal Caribbean's island before, it is new and improved...just lovely. Missed the barbecue in Haiti as we were soaking up the sun and swimming. Once arriving back on the ship we ate at Johnny Rockets, so we were good. :-) Even though there are sooo many persons cruising on the Oasis, the lines weren't long and places were not over crowded. Very comfortable. Oasis of the Seas...excellent voyage!!! A cruise to add to your bucket list. So glad I did.
