Cabin: Club Veranda Stateroom

This is our 6th Azamara Cruise, we wished to experience this refurbished ship and we were not disappointed

We really enjoyed the new updated design both in the public areas and in our V2 Stateroom and the new furniture in both. Granted, the size of this ship precludes some of the roominess that other cruisers may desire but, in our view, the layout is cozy and efficient.

The new bedding is an upgrade as is is the interactive TV. There are also ample outlets now for charging the seemingly necessary smartphones, tablets etc. Our power cord was never unpacked.

Cabin Review

Club Veranda Stateroom

Cabin V2

Not large, especially the bathroom, but enjoyably efficient.

Our stateroom attendants were attentive but not intrusive. Very aware of the best opportunity to fulfill their functions.

Port Reviews

Bergen

On the second day we were able to use the funicula for wonderful views.

Olden

We cruised on Lake Olden. An excellent alternative to the land-based tours we had experienced.

Stavanger

Perhaps the least interesting port; however, still worth visiting and, being a center of the North Sea petroleum industry gave this city a very different feel to the others and that alone made it worthwhile.
