I like starting in Rome, as this allowed us to rent an apartment (looking out on the forum, and cheaper then a hotel) for 4 nights before the cruise. We also had two teenagers (18 and 19) and this ship was great for them too. I didn't care for the artwork on the ship (none of us really did). The ship is very nice, and the food was very good (we tended to eat in the specialty restaurants). As I have probably had 30 cruises, Celebrity is a joy to be on. Quality every where. The excursions were hit and miss, as some were very good and others not so good. Had trouble getting a good martini too. The photo section also had some crazy rules about package deals. As we took our niece and nephew, they would not count that as a family package for photos. The last thing on the cruise caused the biggest headache. (Are you kidding me, after all the money spent on the cruise. Here they were counting pennies. So, to save headaches. Just say they are all your own kids! haha) Some premium cuts of meat also weren't as good as expected. The tour walking through the markets with a chef turned out to not be so great, as out guide lost the chef! haha The dinner part of the tour and getting a brief tour of the kitchen with the chef was fun. Never saw the glass blowing, and only saw the grass one night briefly. We also loved the cruise director who was hilarious! And any show he was invoved in turned out to be great fun.
