It seemed like a good idea to try the Pacific Aria as the ports of call were to be different to previous cruises and the new eating arrangements seemed attractive.

However, the crew seemed to be novices and most (not all) appeared to be in training mode. There were very few smiles unless you made a point of frequenting the same eating and drink bar all the time.

The variety shows were interesting although one comedian sailed pretty close to nasty considering there were young children in the audience.

The cabin staff were very good, I think that one steward was actually training the other.
