I chose this cruise because the price was good and it was the destination I wanted to go . This was the first time I used princess and they were rated the best Alaskan cruise line so we chose them. Overall the cruise was pretty good with some areas were excellent and others were not good at all. The destination was excellent although we did not spend enough time in each port. The main dining room the food was good and the service was excellent. The buffet the food was average and the service was ok. The shows were well below average and they were trying to sell too much stuff. The comedian AJ was excellent but the activities guy named Mark was offensive and not very talented everything he did had a sexual overtone which I did not like. Most of the people on the cruise were over 60 which was a surprise. We did a whale watching tour booked through the ship at British Columbia Canada for 3 hours but we did not see any whales so it was disappointing. In the future the cruise should have shows that have a PG rating, more selection in the area of food choices and a 10 day menu on the website or when you check in. They should also have more activities for younger people. They should also give a partial refund on excursions if guests are disappointed.

The cabin was ok except for being a little noisy. The shower was a little small and hard to use. They should supply you with toothpaste, shampoo, soap and a hairdryer while onboard.
