The little ship that could still can

We got a junior suite at the last moment due to a $700 military cut in price. The JS is very tiny. There is insufficient storage for 2 small roller bags of clothes. More on that under room review.

The food was again superb. The new menus are welcomed. They try and do things to make up for no concierge lounge. Bartenders Carlos and Pradeep are superb in Boleros. Pradeep can make some seriously different cocktails. You get 3 cocktails on your card (Diamond and up) for happy hour. They need to keep Latino bartenders in Boleros to stay with the Latin theme. Keep Carlos and bring in Kelly.

Cabin Review

Cabin Junior Suite

Too small. Not enough storage. AC was great. Bottom drawer falling apart. There are only 3 drawers. There is a lot of cabinet space but not big enough to put things in. No refrigerator. Seals on balcony door worn and lets noise and smoke in. Smoke drifts down from Deck 10. This is port side. Way too much chair noise from deck 10. Deck party is TOO NOISY! Also, Centrum 90s party extremely noisy even though amidships. Room was clean, Shower tiny but had lots of pressure. No magnifying mirror. But for double points it's an excellent value. I would choose one on the starboard side next time.

Port Reviews

Key West

Kelly McGillis Pan Am bar was closed for reno until Sept 15th. Sunset Pier a good alternative.

Cozumel

Cheapest place to have fun. Pepe's off the pier has a walk-to beach and for $6 one drink you can use it all day. Right next to Senor Frogs. Great drinks. Rope swings for seats at the Tiki Hut.
