Reflection is newest of Celebrity ships and in excellent shape. There was traffic getting into the Port, so plan ahead, but Embarkation was very fast for AQ Class room. Primarily dined in Blu, selections and service were excellent. The ship was full, and the Blu staff handled the evening dinner rush flawlessly. Always able to tailor the choices, if you do not like the dish or preparation. Enjoyed the food and experience in both Tuscan Grille and Lawn Club. Quality of steak in both was excellent, and having the choice to try other venues, is part of the Celebrity vacation experience.

Spa Facilities are large and well maintained for a ship. Multiple relaxation rooms in the Persian Gardens. Technicians gave great treatments.

There were numerous children on this sailing, as expected for August, with numerous Beach based locations. The pools were a madhouse on sea days, and most afternoons.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 2

Cabin A2

Cabin was standard Aqua Class room. Quiet, with mid-aft starboard location. Nice size bathroom for a ship, with excellent shower. Hansgrohe showerhead and GREAT door. Iputu our Cabin Steward was superb. Attentive and efficient service. Bed was very comfortable, with nice linens and a choice of pillows. Closet has a set of lower bars, providing plenty of space and hangers to hold 2 weeks worth of clothes. HVAC in room worked well.

Port Reviews

Mykonos

Easy port to DIY. Free bus shuttle to town, and very walkable lovely town. There are options to bus or boat to other parts of the island. Try taking the SeaBus for a better view of the coast. It runs every 20-30 minutes between the cruise port and the Old Port right in town, convenient, 1 or 2 Euros.

Rhodes

Ship docks near Old Town. Very walkable. Numerous shops or historic structures to tour. There are beautiful beaches circling the New Town area, with loungers and umbrellas if you do not wish to take a tour.

Santorini

Santorini can be intimidating to visit. The ships tender, to a port. We used the boat shuttles to Oia. Easy to find, the vendors are on the way to the Cable Cars, and leave when boats are full. Our wait was 10-15 minutes. There is a short but STEEP walk uphill to a bus, which shuttles you to a bus stop just outside of Oia (town). We spent 2 hours covering much of the main streets of the city on foot, and then took the bus from the same bus stop, to Fira. After time in Fira for shopping, sight-seeing and drinks/dining, the Cable car or walking is the only way back to the tender ports. We returned early afternoon, with a short 15 minute wait for the Cable Cars.

Athens (Piraeus)

Toured with PK Travel - Full day tour covered major sights, including free time in the Plaka. Michael our tour guide gave a detailed and very entertaining tour of the Acropolis. We arrived BEFORE the lines were long, and he gives great information about the history of the city on the long slow climb to the top. Good pace, stopping frequently in the shade on a hot summer day, along the way for pictures, and Q&A. Michael and PK Travel are Top Notch
