From the moment we got there and saw the ship we were excited.  We got to the pier around 4:30 and stood in line for about 10 minutes.  The computers were down and they were unable to check us in but gave us our room keys and ask us to check in with the front desk later.  We boarded the ship and had a glass of champagne on our way to check out our room.  We had a balcony room for the first time and were looking forward to seeing it.  The room was nice but seemed a little small to us.  We figured it was due to the balcony.  We usually have a picture window room.  The bathroom was the usual size for a cruise ship and was extremely clean.  I know some people complain about the size of the bathroom but we camped for years while raising our children and there are not smaller bathrooms than those in a camper.  The balcony was nice and we left the door open most of the time we were in the room including at night.  It was nice to sleep to the sound of the waves and the air was cool.We had breakfast every morning from the Aloha Cafe.  We found it to be good and filling.  We picked up fruit and a piece of ham and bread to take with us for the day so we would not have to eat lunch while out.  So, we never ate lunch on the ship.  We had dinner 2 nights at the Aloha Cafe, 3 nights at the Skyline dining room and 1 night at the Cadillac Diner.  We ate in town 1 night and wished we had not.  It was very expensive and the food was not that good.  We wished we had gone back to the ship to eat.  The Aloha Cafe has 2 large chocolate fountains, one dark chocolate and one milk.  I had chocolate covered marshmallows and fruit every night no matter where we ate.  We ate at Skyline rather than Liberty dining room because you could wear jeans at the Skyline.  The food was good and we were not rushed.  But, if you are in a hurry you should consider eating somewhere else.We found everyone on board to be friendly and helpful.  We enjoyed talking to the staff and finding out where everyone was from.  My husband and I are not drinkers but even the bar staff would stop and talk to us when we asked where they were from.  Our room steward always had a smile on her face and greeted us everytime we saw her.  We meet the assistant manager of the Skyline dining room while at K-mart in one of the ports and he took good care of us when we had dinner there. What we saw of the ship was really nice.  The decorations and themes were tastefully done and the grand staircase was beautiful.  Unfortunately, we had an accident on the second day of the cruise and were not able to walk around much.  Therefore we did not see the whole ship, we did not see any of the entertainment and spent no time at the pool.  This is your warning, PLEASE be careful of the waves.  They can really mess you up.  Even though we were injured we tried not to let it spoil our trip.  We got off the ship at every port including the ones that were tendered.  The crew helped us as much as they could getting on and off the ship and tried to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be doing this cruise again.  And we look forward to sailing on the Pride of America again.  This is the 4th ship in the Norwegian line that we have sailed on and have not been disappointed in any of them.  We like the freestyle sailing, the itineraries and the prices on Norwegian.

Room was quiet. We opened the balcony door every night to hear the waves. Balcony was nice and we enjoyed sitting on it.
