My husband worked long and hard to see that we had the best experience on this Alaska cruise...and it was wonderful. I thought I would share some things that might help other travelers.
We flew from LAX to Seattle...baggage claim a long way from gate....so think about those carry-ons....the baggage claims was a bit of a mess with several planes' baggage in with the Alaska baggage ( or so the fellow told us) and our baggage had been taken off the belt by the time I found it...PACK LIGHT I didn't and it was a pain.
We intended to uber to the ship. So we had a baggage carrier take our bags...up to the fourth floor on the elevator (across to the garage) and then down to floor 3 for the transportation...he left us at the Uber spot...beware wifi very sketchy there and we had to lug baggage back a little bit to the shuttles. Shuttles Express $22 each a good deal at that time....
Get a balcony...I wasn't sure I wanted one but It was wonderful...One night we just left the door open to feel the fresh air...made the trip !!
got some nice pictures of Seattle as we sailed out
great little town...lots of fun to walk around...
Eat at Tracy's just on the left as you get into town...great king crab legs
lots of original buildings a look into the past...a very small town
