Nothing particular is "wrong" with this cruise ad Norwegian. But nothing is outstanding either. Unless we plan another cruise to Hawaii on the Pride of America, this is our third and likely last Norwegian cruise.
The first thing is that Norwegian feels like a nickle and dime outfit Once upon a time there was lobster night on cruise ships in the main dining room. Not here, unless you want to pay $29.95. Even eating in the specialty dining rooms if you don't buy the specialty dining room package, you have to pay a cover charge AND a la carte AND pay a gratuity. And the cost of the items is exactly the same as in a similar on land restaurant. Main dining room food is just OK.
We got the drink package as a perk. Fortunately we booked so far in advance that we did not have to pay extra gratuities and tax. However if we purchased the drink package, which is THE most expensive out there, it doesn't include bottled water or specialty coffees.
Overall clean and comfortable. Like the layout of the bathroom making the shower more comfortable. We did find the previous guest's undergarments in the drawer when unpacking (clean thank goodness). And the blankets in the closet were dirty or stained.
