Embarkation, in Amsterdam took about 1 1/2 hours, 1/2 hour to check in then an hour wait until we actually got on board. We arrived at 1PM and would have been better off is we had wait until 2PM
The ship, obviously is new, and in excellent shape. Our cabin 4137 was an obstructed view balcony. The aft obstructive views are more obstructed than the forward as aft is where the tenders are and they are bigger than the forward lifeboats, but no complaints we knew what we were buying. Cabin stewards Ian and Aji were just great.
We never had any trouble finding a seat for any meal in the Lido although I have to say that the concept of food stations needs work. You are left juggling plates, no trays here, and having to go to several stations to get everything you want. We ate one in Pinnacle and the food served us and the table next to us was way to salty, service was slow and we did not return. Sel de Mer was nice but the portions were very large. Tamarind was a home run, again large portions but excellent with great service. Dinner's in the MDR were a pleasant surprise you could eat and go in about an hour. Food ample and tasty.
A little smaller than some but spotless and everything working.
