Just finished the 7 day eastern on the Liberty of the Seas.  Me and my wife, late 20's, one year old daughter, and my Mom and her bf (50's)  Overall we had a great trip, first one with a baby, so expectations were a little skewed, but all in all, good things!

MTD- loved it, will do it again!  We had the same servers, at the same table on deck 5 regardless of time.  Jose and DiVinci were the best staff we have ever had on a cruise ship.  They knew our tastes by day one, and picked up on the baby's patterns right away.  Everyone on the whole ship were so nice to the baby, always playing with her, blowing kisses, and asking us if we needed anything for her.  She was by far the princess of the cruise.  In general the food was above average.  Every night there was a stand out, but it was hit or miss.  In general the lamb and beef dishes were very good, seafood, chicken, and pasta were spotty.  Deserts follow the same pattern.

AO- we used the fisher price play time everyday, it was great-brand new clean toys that changes everyday!  It was held in the card rooms on deck 14, and afforded ample space for some much needed movement for the baby.  As many as 6 kids were there, and as few as 2, but always plenty to do for the kids!  On sea days they do a play session in the baby splash zone, but these we cancelled all week due to wind....see below.  Bring pools toys!!!! The baby splash zone is a triangle pool....that's all.  We were the only parents that brought any pools toys, so there was a lot of attempted sharing going on. Without pool toys the splash zone is just 3 inches of water and gets boring very quickly.
