We sailed on the Eclipse in Sky Suite 1665. Amazed at the size of the cabin. Two lovely closets, more drawer space than we could use! Suitcases were never in our way yet did not need to be stored under the bed. There is a safe in the cabin. Also, a refrigerator which is an honor bar. Having butler service, everyday we had delivery of small sandwiches and sweets and, if we were actually there to answer the doorbell, we could have coffee and tea. (All this as if we needed more food!) The bathroom had storage drawers and two medicine cabinets. Plenty of counter space.
On our sailing we had the wonderful Captain Leo (who was about to go on his own vacation). Never have I seen anyone who enjoyed being with people as much as he did! Officers were always "around", mixing and mingling with guests. They (including the Captain) were even involved in activities like ping ping tournaments with guests, dancing with the officers event, etc, etc, etc.
We ate just about every meal in Luminae (a suite only restaurant). Elegant service (Thank you Roberto and staff). If you were not crazy about that menu you could order from the main dining room menu was was a bit more extensive. We often mixed and matched menus. From time to time we did have lunch by the pool at the Mast Grill. Hot dogs and hamburgers only. (Burgers were ok but DH sometimes needed a hot dog fix.)
Comfortable bed, lovely position on the ship (you see everything that you had just passed, not just one side of the ship). Spacious cabin, especially when compared to an Aqua Class cabin. Two closets. Plenty of drawers. (We did not use most of them!) Tub /shower a bit high but nice shower setup. Bathroom had plenty of counter space, two medicine cabinets, and storage drawers. There is a safe and a refrigerator which is an honor bar.
Butler service. Everyday around 4:00 (pm) sandwiches and sweets were brought to the room. If you were in the room you could also get coffee and tea.
Very clean!
Incredible! Bring a camera .
A pleasant way to spend some time and see a few more sights.
