The cruise was outstanding. Spent 2 days in Budapest before the cruise. Budapest is a wonderful city with so many beautiful sites. Very easy to get around. Stayed in Hilton hotel in Pest which had a wonderful view of the city Embarkation was very easy.

The ship was wonderful and the staff was very attentive and helpful. The food was excellent. Have to commend the cruise director who booked a private tour of sound of music movie sites in Salzburg that was wonderful and very reasonable in price. She went beyond expectations and spent a lot of time arranging this. The staff on board was very friendly and helpful at all times. The staff and Viking cruise line did a wonderful job working around a delay caused by high water that allowed us to get to all destinations without having to change ships. Rooms were very nice and similar in size to a sea cruise except veranda is much smaller. Room attendant was very helpful and did a wonderful job.

All the included shore excursions were very nice and gave a quick overview of each stop. Most of the guides were very good. I would highly recommend this trip for allowing you to see the cities up close and personal which you cant do on a sea cruise. The castles were wonderful and so common. Lots of history which was fun and so interesting . More than what I expected!!
