I chose this cruise because it was promotional deal. I am glad I went on this ship - the food, staff, rooms, and entertainment were all stellar. Maintenance was constant but unobtrusive. There were a lot of activities to chose from on board and for excursions. I went with my sister, neither of us had ever been on a cruise. We would both go again! I preferred the buffets over the dining room/restaurants - the food was included in the package, there were no assigned seats or times. YOu could get your food and take it anywhere you liked. Anytime you wanted more, all you had to do was go back to the buffet. The wait staff was very attentive. The dining rooms, also free, were very comfortable and yet classy. Here the lines were short, service was quick, and the food was excellent. I prefer the casualness of the buffet and the wider selection of food. Although you can dress casually, it is also not unusual to wear evening dress if desired. Excursions were easy to book, even on the ship instead of doing it ahead of time. It didn't take long for us to learn our way around the ship, and we explored it from bow to stern. We enjoyed taking a walk on the promenade on level 6 every night. We had a stateroom inside with no windows, but we really didn't care - we were only there to sleep. The rooms were very comfortable, the beds exquisite, the service awesome. We really did not hear other people once we were in our rooms.
