NEVER AGAIN!

This Cruise was simply the lowest of the low, with hardly any redeeeming factors to report, the decor was naff Naff, corridors smelt, rust & unkempt was the order of the day, the food - Oh, so VERY repetitive, all the restaurants served the same food at virtaully every meal, the entertainment was really poor, the comedian was not onlty painfully dated but also far too rude considering there were young audience in the Jubillee lounge; the cabins, SO minute you had to "breathe in" to get to the bed... the noise woke us up every single night without fail, when docking or embarking it felt like we were in a tin car riding an earthquake, the swimming pools were so crowded, with hardly any deck chairs available, couldn't wait to get out of there & now... we need a holiday!

On the plus side Some of the staff really tried to make up for the follies that is the Thomson Majesty, the itinarary/denstinations are good.

Cabin inside cabin

Far too small to enjoy.

Port Reviews

Villefranche

Lovely location, Excellent Beach, Perfect for an afternoons' swim in the sun.

Florence (Livorno)

We probably should have booked an excursion as Livorno itself offers little more than one roads' shopping.

Previous trips to Pisa &/or Venice proved to be magnificent destinations to visit.

Marseille

Took a Tour bus to the centre which was about 20 minutes away. The centre had a ferris wheel & several market stolls, horrendously expensive as you'd expect from a touristy place, they also had a Fresh Fish section on the other side for the days' best catch.

Barcelona

Barcelona is Lovely! we walked for around 20 minutes & picked up a one stop metro that went up to the mountains, from there we took the cable car ride (costly!) to the old fortress/castle at the top.

I walked up & down the Las Ramblas which was busteling with shoppers & tourists had many portrait artists on the street corners, souvineer stalls & places to eat.

Fun, colourful place.
