We chose this cruise specifically for the itinerary - we had never done Southern Caribbean before, and we were not disappointed in our ports (Aruba, Curacao, Grand Turk)! Aruba has quickly moved to one of our favorite places in the Caribbean. Would love to visit there again sometime.

Cruise ship was "okay". Nothing really wrong with it, the deck areas by the pool were nice. But the interior seemed like it needed some love - chipping paint, sloppy paint dripped and brushed over our balcony. We were on the 11th floor, elevators took a very long time for everyone. Our balcony door was a slider, and it had to be slammed and locked in order to keep from whistling, our toilet apparently broke one day and they were fixing it when we returned to our room, and once after a port visit I was taking a shower - and the water was shut off! In the middle of shampooing my hair we had no water - so I had to use the $3.75 bottled water in the room to rinse the suds out of my hair! Layout was strange too - on the 3rd and 4th floors you had to walk through one of the main restaurant dining rooms to get from one end of the ship to another. Seemed very strange. The main lobby was very small also, and since they did a lot of trivia there it made it very crowded. Seems like there were enough public spaces not in use during the day to have it somewhere else.

Food was just average - almost every night when I had a salad, there was some wilted lettuce in it. We were at the late dinner so, it seemed like they just kind of brought us our food - whether we were done with our appetizers or salads or not - the next course came. Guys' Burger Joint was great - but only open for a portion of the day - not all day. Ate at the Steakhouse one night for the extra fee - not worth it at all. I think we had better food in the main dining room.

Because we were directly below the Serenity adult deck, if we were on our balcony and people were standing at the rail of the Serenity deck, they were looking down at us. Room was dated, but had everything we needed and of course our steward was great (as always). Bed comfortable. Never enough outlets.
