Cruise dates July 31st thru August 7th, 2016
This was our fourth annual NCL Breakaway cruise to Bermuda since 2013. We were a party of eight; my brother and I, our wives and four children ages seven to twelve. We’ve also previously sailed with NCL as a family four times on other NCL ships so we consider ourselves experienced and savvy NCL cruisers.
This review will be a short one focusing on what we liked/loved and what we didn’t. You can refer to our previous Auburndale Cruisers Cruise Critic reviews of our Breakaway sails to Bermuda in August of 2013, 2014 and 2015 for more detailed descriptions of embarkation, the ship, staterooms, dining, entertainment, children’s activities, disembarkation and especially what we liked/loved and didn’t. As you’ll see, there was more we didn’t like/love on this cruise than in the past.
The cabin was small as most are on cruise ships. The balcony was especially small, just about enough space for two straight-backed chairs and a small table. Not conducive to in-room breakfasts.
No excursions taken.
Kings Wharf was close to land and sea transportation.
