My first point is the most important. EVERYONE is different - so be careful how seriously you take the reviews. You may read bad ones written by people who are not like you at all.

I expected everyone to be the same on the boat and to choose the same things as me. They do not. Some get off at every stop, some get off at none. Some get balconies and no drinks package (like us), some go for the cheaper internal cabins and get the drinks package. Some people find their spot on the boat and you find them there every day. Others (like us) never sit in the same place twice.
