Our Second Cruise for the family, My wife, me and two girls (10 and 12) We cruised with the Norwegian Jade last year and enjoyed it so we thought we would try the Royal Princess around the Med. I am not going to comment on ports and the destinations like some do on here because this is about the ship. You know where its going so what's the point of critiquing Rome or Valencia?

Anyway

Two Staterooms next to each other on Dolphin Deck...What can I say about the rooms? the main thing to us is the bed... large and comfortable... did we sleep OK ? Yes we did. Was the shower and bathroom clean? Yes it was! Was the service good? Yes it was! Nice Balcony? Yes it was ! 10/10 for the room and frankly if you stay in your room for any longer than required then why are you on a cruise?!

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BA

Cabins very clean with nice beds and very comfortable. no issues. very good maid/porter service as well

Port Reviews

Toulon

Went to Aix en Provence and was a great in expexted trip.... great countryside and great tour guide... made us want to book a holiday in Provence and read the book 'a year in Provence!'

Monaco (Monte Carlo)

No excursion for us... Tender over to the port and a lovely walk around

Gibraltar

No excursion and wife went shopping! in retrospect we should have done as the cable car queues were too long and we never got to the top of the Rock!

Valencia

Loved Valencia as a modern contemporary city ... although the boat trip was a little boring
