This was my wife's first cruise and I had cruised about 15 years ago. I wanted a simple vacation that would keep my children's interest and allow us to relax.
My children are 15 months, 4 years and 6 years old. Many friends and family members of mine had recommended carnival for a vacation. We were leery of taking such young children but several people had told me that carnival makes it very easy to take children on vacation allowing the parents to enjoy themselves. Carnival told us that whenever the ship was in port there would be available babysitting for a fee.
