This was my first cruise and was recommended by my travel agency, for myself and my teenage son and daughter. After reading some negative reviews i was pleasantly suprised. Our cabin was an outside plus and was quite big with plenty of storage space the bathroom is small but i expected that. The cabin was spotless and was kept spotless for the week by the staff. My kids especially liked that they made animals from the towels. My daughters birthday fell on the week we were there and they left a lovely note and balloons on our door, which i thought was a lovely touch.

The ship itself is quite big although the pools are quite small and didn't really interest my kids, we got off the ship most days so this didn't really matter.

The food was lovely and we mainly used the buffet restaurants and found there was plenty of choice. The only issue i had was a lot of the time there was a long wait for drinks to be served. There are many food servers but not enough drink servers in my opinion.

Cabin Review

Cabin outside plus

Plenty of room and beds quite comfortable, lots of storage space.

Port Reviews

Sorrento

I researched this port before i went and decided to do Pompeii myself. We got a train from Sorrento which cost 8e for 3 of us return. When we got to Pompeii it was 13e for myself and free for the kids once i showed proof that they were under 18 which i thought was great. It was a great day although it was very warm to be walking around but we all enjoyed it.
