I scheduled this trip for our 30 year anniversary. I think it is time carnival retires this ship. The crew does it's best to keep you having fun and comfortable, great job, but the ship is way too old. There was rust in the bathrooms, outdated furniture, ceiling tiles falling apart and pool tiles failing. This biggest sign that it has met it's time, there was a huge crack in one of the dining room windows, and do not sit in the AFT to get sun as the ship was spraying oil or something from the smoke stack. Sometimes Carnival has to put ships that have done there duty out to pasture. I have to give 100% favorable rating to the crew though, they go above and beyond with what they have to make sure you are happy. Dining room food was ok nothing to write home about. If you go to Cozumel a must do is swim with the dolphins, I would pre-book for a better deal though.

One last note, we took pictures with a photographer to get a reminder of the trip. Got to be crazy if they thought we would pay $1000 for a 22 page book

If what you are looking for is a get away at a lower price than this is for you. No frills
