We did our cruise during the Easter holiday. We first spent 2 nights on Waikiki Beach and enjoyed meeting an email-made friend who gave us a 2for1 dinner coupon at Shore Bird and we enjoyed dinner in an open-air setting and the Frid. night fireworks as well. Thanks again for that! This was our first time to visit Hawaii and also our first cruise. We were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary as well.We headed to the harbor to board around noon and had a quick check-in and grabbed a glass of champagne and before we were seated good, they called us for our room. We went to our room and checked it out and then headed straight to the Aloha Cafe where we had lunch. The cafe was where we found ourselves going to on a daily basis for even just a cup of coffee during off times to sit and whale-watch near the poolsideWe chose a room with a window view because we looked at the idea of this cruise ship as just the floating hotel concept. We had the nicest crew on our floor! Norma was a doll! She took SUCH good care of us and we really could count on her or the others nearby to do anything we needed done! The beds are very comfy and the room was good. We had plenty of storage and hangers in the closet. We had a couple nights of some high tides and we ended up having "sea legs" feeling, but that quickly went away the next time we left the ship. We had some really windy days, but that didn't stop us. We met some really nice people on board and we even got a special anniversary cake from the Little Italy specialty restaurant, even though we did not book anything special for our anniv.  We could not have asked for a more talented, friendly, and hard working crew!!As we disembarked in Honolulu, we caught the city bus to take us back to Waikiki where our new email friend had us scheduled in her shop to get tattooed before we boarded our flight to go back home. We ended up with the most awesome tattoos, and new friends , great memories, and the best way to celebrate 25 years!!  Why did we wait so long?! I have now fulfilled a lifelong dream and a piece of Hawaii is on me forever. That is the REAL way to celebrate!!

We were on the 4th level and our cruise travel agent made it a point to put us in an area that was away from the noise. She said we would be just below the jewelry store and we were away from the bars, restaurants, and the elevators and bathrooms. We had an extra barricade when we were docked in Maui that was like rubber barrels as bumper guards, and those made noise as the ship emptied or filled up. It was squeaky as rubber would be against the steel of the ship, but otherwise it was quiet, even as we were as close as we were to the water too. We had enough room, and was able to do okay in the small showers too. No complaints all around.
