Traveled with children

We chose this cruise based on its ports of calls and affordability. We were a mum and her two children aged 7 and 9 travelling with her mum/nana. We were amazed at the beauty and size of the Fantasia and on the first day we could not get over the friendliness of the staff and how great it felt to be on board. The children went to kids club a few times which they enjoyed but were happy to just hang with us adults by the pool. We tried the buffet a few times but found the restaurant was more suited to us. We had the same wait staff and table each night and loved how they knew exactly what we wanted to drink and eat. They even offered us suggestions as to watch me may like to try.

I cannot fault the ship or the staff at all.... the only fault is the other passengers.... People who let their kids run about and shout, grab food without using tongs, be rude to the staff.... And this sort of behaviour is what put us off the Buffet. THe pushing and shoving of guests to get food was a nightmare and no wonder the cruise ships get a bad name. The buffet food was wonderful, just don't go there at peak times.

Now sun loungers, don't get me started on people who save pool loungers. No it is not on.... don't put down a towel and assume that lounger is yours for the day. So I had a few arguments with people over this situation. Sorry I have been here for the last two hours, doesn't mean that you own this lounger. Saving seats, or loungers is very rude.
