It was a girls weekend with my best friend and her daughter and her best friend. We were looking for something to do that would be different for just a weekend (Friday-Sunday) and Affordable. Well let me tell you that this is the way to go. I must confess that I was very apprehensive on what to expect having cruised many many times on various cruise lines. I knew that this was an older ship and that we wouldn't have a balcony. The cabin was much larger than I expected, maybe because it was an older ship, it was larger because the newer ships cabins are much smaller. Our cabin steward (Jimmy) was very helpful and very quick to do our cabins. The only complaint that I have is that the shower curtain was 3 inches too short so it would flood the whole bathroom.

We dined in the Admiralty Dining Room the first night. Carlos, Giovanni, and Yuri were amazing. The food was delicious. The 2nd night, we dined at the Stellar Dining Room, it equally was great. The buffet had a nice variety of food and we had good service. The outdoor grill with the hamburgers and hotdogs, couldn't keep up with hamburgers or chicken. They were always out and had long waits.

The entertainment was good. I thought that there was enough to do for all ages. I really enjoyed the latin singer and band. They were wonderful. The younger girls enjoyed the disco and the upper deck entertainment. We never made it to the theater shows, but looked like they would have been good. The casino is quite small but I did win on the slots. I don't play the tables. They had 1 roulette and crap table along with all the regular tables.
