.It seems petty to start off by telling you that the noise level, especially at 5:00AM, is way too loud in the Cadillac diner. Of that beach towels were sometimes not replaced in our cabin. Or even that virtually every one of our dinner reservations required multiple phone calls and confirmations. Because that is the very least of the complaints that I have about our recent cruise on the Pride of America.
When FINALLY our cabin was ‘ready’ and we could get into it, shortly after 3:00, we not happy to find dirty towels from the last passengers still in the bathroom. Additionally, there was no hand soap or shampoo, other than that in the dispenser on the wall in our cabin. We let housekeeping know, and those were both remedied quickly. Other than this remedy, the cruise was a disaster
To say that the service, almost to a person (I will commend a couple of other crew member at the end of this letter), was unenthusiastic would be a gross understatement. There were 4 of us traveling together on this cruise, all seasoned travelers with over 40 cruises each on several cruise lines, including Oceania, P&O, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Celebrity and Carnival. None of us have ever been treated so indifferently (The opposite of love is not hate – it’s indifference)
Appointments were nice; service the pits
