Chose this cruise to celebrate my 70th birthday with my family. A better name would be Misery of the Seas. The majority of the crew were unfriendly and unhelpful. The ship was dirty and the restrooms were disgraceful. Bins over flowing with dirty paper towels and toilets smelly. The Windjammer was dirty and smelly. Again bins were overflowing. Cutlery was in wire dishwasher racks and not wrapped as in other cruises so everyone was touching it whether they had cleaned their hands or not. Didn't see anyone wiping the arms of the chairs in Windjammer so they were also sticky. General cleanliness of ship appalling. No one cleaning hand rails down the stairways. Even the elevator buttons were sticky. Senior management and Guest relations managers most unhelpful when we complained. Their attitude was condescending. Seemed to,think that a free meal in a speciality restaurant would make the problems go away. Attitude of most of the crew was apathetic and nobody even asked our names or wished us a nice day or asked if everything was ok. Clearly it was not and it will be a long time before we cruise again with Royal Caribbean.
