I warn you in advance, that this is a long review. I will try and touch upon all of the aspects of this cruise, things I wanted to know, prior to cruising. We have traveled extensively over the years, so we know good service when we receive it.

As soon as we booked this cruise, one year ago, I started reading all of these reviews. I must admit, I was little worried, based on some of the negative reviews. I, however, know that you just can't make some people happy. They always have to find something wrong. We've sailed with Carnival and Royal Caribbean, and I can say, this cruise was over and above both of those cruise lines. Everything was first rate, from the moment we stepped on the ship. All of the staff were happy and always there to do whatever they could to make your vacation the best.

We started with a 4 day land tour package, all with Celebrity. The representatives met with us at the hotel, for an informative meeting on how the trip would be handled. From the moment they met with us, everything was handled to perfection. The tour guides were great, handling everything from our rooms, to meal suggestions, history of Alaska, etc. We never touched our luggage, and it was always in our room within minutes of stopping at the hotels. The trip was well organized, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is considering it. We took the 8 hr train from Anchorage to Denali. It was a beautiful ride, in the glass domed cars. We ate breakfast and lunch on the train, both being excellent meals.
