Before cruising on Harmony of the Seas I had cruised on Liberty of the Seas with my family, the ship was amazing so I had very high expectations. I think it's fair to say that all my expectations were met and this has been one of the best things I've ever experienced. We decided not to explore our departure city and to go straight onto the cruise as the ship was so large, therefore we needed time to look around and get a general idea of where things are. The process of embarkation and disembarkation generally went quite smoothly. Our first excursion was to Marseilles and the embarkation/disembarkation was brilliant however on our second excursion in Portovenere it was a little more complicated but still, it was okay. The only issue was that the boat hadn't arrived to take us on the trip and so that's nothing to do with the cruise.

The ship is full of atmosphere with plenty to see and do. Everything was organised, clean and sanitary as well as being fun. The one thing that people need to be aware of is that the ship can become crowded however this only happens in the evening and on the final day at sea (because everyone's on board). The cabins that my family stayed in suited us very well, it was clean and pleasing. The dining experience on board is amazing, there's so much to choose from and everything tastes great. There are many different restaurants meaning there's something for everyone; please note that you have to pay extra for some. During our stay we dined at American Icon, Windjammer marketplace, Park Cafe and Sorrentos. There was never a dull moment on board as there was constant entertainment everyday with our personal favourites being the 18+ Karaoke and the Boardwalk Fiesta. If there is anything that they could improve on then I think that during the day they need slightly more for adults. The service was generally okay however there were a few complications when upgrading the drinks package but it got sorted in the end.

Absolutely recommend it to anyone, I think that if you're travelling in a large group of all ages then you wont be dissapointed.

Cabin Review

Family Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin FB

The cabins that my family stayed in were brilliant. The one that I stayed in had two single beds, a sofa bed, a balcony, a TV, storage space and an en-suite. My favourite thing about the cabin was the fact that it was well looked after and that it suited all of our needs. Personally, I thought that the only issue was the fact that there wasn't a huge deal of space. I stayed in a room with two more people and it could occasionally seem quite tight so any more than three to a room will ultimately feel tight. However, this didn't really matter because we were normally out and about
