Third time on the Dream. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and were not disappointed. Really enjoyed sailing into Venice as we expected. Dubrovnik not to be missed. First port of call was Koper and myself and my daughter went to see the Lipizzaner Horses which was very good, if you like horses as my daughter does this is a must. This was the only excursion we booked as the other ports we felt were easy to get around. In Dubrovnik we just jumped in a taxi outside of the port which took us straight into town (the buses looked busy and it was easier to do this and there were four of us). In Venice the Water Bus was right next to where the ship docked and was 15 euros each return to St. Marks square. Very easy. The trip would have cost us £100 for us all.

We sailed on the Dream in 2013, 2014 and we did notice a few differences. The staff as always work very hard but we noticed that the Orion Restaurant definitely seemed busier. Maybe the new staff couldn't cope so well. The only thing I would suggested to Thomson is that the dress code should be enforced in the dining room. I think when people have made the effort to look smart for the main restaurant then others should be turned away. On captains night we did notice this year that people didn't stick to this and we even saw one man in a tracksuit and others in other casual outfits.

Norman our cabin steward was very good. No problems with our cabins. Deck 6 cabins 6126 and 6120.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside

Two cabins booked 6120 and 6126. No problems at all. Some cabins do have problems with the toilets on this ship as we have had previously but not this year. Norman looked after our cabins. Very good. No towel art though!!
