This is a quick and inexpensive getaway. The food was the best I've had in all the ships I have been on and they did not skimp on the alcoholic beverages, considering it was an "all-inclusive" package. The Sky is visibly dated but the crew was terrific, as expected. My internet only worked half of the time but I was told that there was a known issue on my deck and that I would be compensated. Unfortunately, I did not see the credit on my final statement and had to contact NCL guest services and I have not yet heard back from them. I am not generally picky, but 1-ply toilet paper isn't going to cut it. I hope that when they put the Sky into dry dock in Jan. 2017, they add a quiet pool area for adults, like The Sanctuary on Princess lines. The reviews I have see about Nassau were 50/50,but I really enjoyed the sea-land tour I took of the city and Atlantis. Overall I was satisfied, but I wouldn't take the same trip again aboard the Norwegian Sky.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

The balcony cabin I had was smaller than some inside and outside staterooms on other ships I have been on and the clothesline in the restroom is not located in a good place so that if you wanted to hang wet swimsuits it would drip right above you if using the sink or toilet. The sink stopper did not work. Not very important, but it would have been nice if there was a spa menu in the room and there was very limited desk/vanity space. The sound on the TV in my cabin was very distorted, even at low level volume.

Port Reviews

Miami

Embarkation was fast and easy at the Port of Miami.
