Really enjoyed our cruise on the Jade and there were many positives.
Enjoyed the bars, entertainment , and particularly like being able to sit outside to enjoy breakfast and lunch.
The biggest downside of the jade is there is no place to swim away from the main central pools. There is an attempt to have an adult pool this is poorly enforced.
Take the free bus to port entrance and then bus for less than 2 euros to town centre. Very pleasant walk around this interesting town. Liked the old fort and good ice cream.
The town is a mass of interesting little side streets but also some interesting open places.
Well worth leaving the ship for half a day.
A bad knee meant had to use cable car. Much is said about the fabled queues for the cable car. 3 ships in port and took 2 hours from first tender (we had tender ticket 25) to reach the top of the cable car. Worth the effort but drink plenty of water and relax in the queue you will get there.
The village was very busy but enjoyed the visit.
Was really nice to get back on board.
Our favourite port and we'll done NCL for running a good free transfer to town bus station. This is small town around a pretty harbour but loads of interesting back streets to explore. A mix of usual tourist stuff plus some high end stores.
Do take the time to visit the iconic windmills.
A very nice place for a stroll . Small village but easy walk from ship. Unless you leave the town you would probably only want to allow 2 hours to see what the town has to offer.
Did find some interesting shops.
The beach was small quite crowded but did notice a wheel chair accessible ramp and system to get into the sea. Nice touch.
Nice town enjoyed the walk.
