First off I should start by saying that I am one of those people who likes to travel alone. I enjoy the time to completely relax and do just what I want to do. So it was with a little trepidation that I set out on this, my very first cruise. I had a fear that I would be somewhat alienated from the vast majority of passengers who travel in groups. As it turned out my fears were misplaced. The cruise turned into a perfect blend of meeting new people, seeing new places and having plenty of time to myself to enjoy a quiet read or a good meal.

Embarkation and Disembarkation were a dream. Turned up about 30 mins ahead of my allocated slot. Luggage and car whisked away in a jiffy and completed boarding and in my cabin about 30 minutes later. I took my own cases off the ship on return. Again no issue here at all. Even better the M3/M25/M23 all played balled do was home within 1.5 hours of leaving the ship. (Southampton to Gatwick.)

I did pay the full whack for a cabin with balcony (A185). A nice reasonably sized cabin, spotlessly clean and well services by the cabin manager (A gentleman named Connie.) There were a few scuffs and scratches here and there and the tiny TV is next to useless. Again being on my own the balcony was plenty big enough but I would think with two people things might be a little cramped. All told though no complaints on the accommodation.

As above, clean, tidy, well presented. A little tired here and there....

Again a wonderful trip. Glorious sunshine and magnificent scenery.
