This was my first time so don't have anything to compare it to.

My sister and I chose a 4- day cruise to Mexico because it fitted into our schedule visiting the US. We arrived quite late and found very little fuss and queues were minimal. We entered the ship and were left to find our cabin- there was no-one there to show us where to go- luckily it was positioned on the Empress deck - where we embarked.

Our cabin was clean and cosy with a TV. We had an inside cabin and didn't feel it to be too dark. We were disappointed that there was no complimentary water.

Cabin 4E

Our cabin was clean and cosy with a TV. We had an inside cabin and didn't feel it to be too dark. We were disappointed that there was no complimentary water and the price of a bottle was a rip off.

Port Reviews

Catalina Island (California)

the wait to get off the ship was done in a very orderly way and we didn't notice the time

Ensenada

Once outside the port we took a much cheaper tour from a local company. Had a great time visiting the flea market and Blow hole- free drinks so what could be bad!!

Los Angeles

Was dropped off by a family member and immediately we saw the Carnival team waiting. Our bags were sent to our room and we only waited about 10 mins for them
