We choose this cruise as an end of summer treat before my husband started back to school. The cruise was wonderful.
The first wonder was the port in Baltimore. After a 21/2 hour drive, we got to the port...how easy. As we followed the cars in front, we came to luggage collection... We didn't even have to get out of car, just popped the trunk and the porters took our bags. The front door was so close to our parking space and the lines moved quickly...less than 30 minutes of entering the port and we were on Grandeur.
Grandeur is looking her age, some refurbishing is scheduled in 2017 I believe. But the ship was sparkling clean...and it sparkled all 9 nights.
Small but had lots of storage. Rather than a sofa or love seat, just had chair.
Bathroom very tiny...would be uncomfortable for large person or if one has long legs
Just walked around port.
Walked around King's Wharf. Free shuttle was convenient
Drove from home to port. Did not tour Baltimore
